Here is a link to Singulair information.
Now, another issue is my part time job that I am enjoying during my retirement years. Two days a week I clean carpets. I enjoy meeting people, the physical exercise is good for me, and I make a few bucks to support my golfing addiction. The issue is CATS!!
About a quarter of the homes I do have cats! The clean homes are usually no issue. The homes with cat urine & hair seem to trigger my asthma! So, I may need to reconsider my part time job!
Howe about some more Asthma information.
According to Pets & Allergies at the Allergy & Asthma Foundation of America
Dogs and cats secrete fluids and shed dander that contain the allergens. They collect on fur and other surfaces. The allergens will not lose their strength for a long time, sometimes for several months. They appear to be sticky and adhere to walls, clothing and other surfaces.
Pet hair is not an allergen. It can collect dander, though. It also harbors other allergens like dust and pollen.
I have cleaned approximately 50 homes and had two that I reacted to after cleaning. The one home was bad as soon as I walked into the house!
So, I will try wearing a mask next time & see how that goes. I will also continue to research meds & PVC's!
Beware of the CAT!!!
